Interprets the spoken word (Spanish) and translates written materials for the non-English speaking client including patients, family members and significant others. Provides consultation and education for the institution regarding the customs and preferences of different cultures.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred. Demonstrated ability to interpret and translate Spanish gained through either education or heritage. Previous experience working in a health care facility preferred.
